Art Talk

FAQ · FAQ

Questions Artists / Brands / Visitors Ask Most

The following Q&A is compiled from inquiries by past applicants and visitors.

Q1 · Can Chinese artists apply? What are the requirements?

Yes. We welcome independent Chinese and Japanese artists and designer brands. Applicants should submit a portfolio, artist CV, and intended exhibition period; the curatorial committee reviews once a month.

Q2 · How are artwork transport, insurance, and customs arranged?

The space partners with professional art logistics providers, offering door-to-door transport, ATA carnet handling, temporary import, and bonded warehousing; full-process artwork insurance can be arranged separately.

Q3 · How are artwork sales settled? What is the revenue share?

Sales are settled by revenue sharing as stipulated in the contract (default 50:50, negotiable). The space collects in JPY and can provide compliant cross-border remittance solutions for artists.

Q4 · What should a brand do if it wants a collaboration?

After matching the brand with artists in both directions, the space acts as the "curation + project execution" lead, providing concept co-creation, artist matching, production coordination, and communication and sales delivery.

Q5 · How can visitors participate? Is it free?

Main exhibitions are usually free and open to the public; some weekend art fairs are ticketed or by reservation. Opening receptions and art talks require advance booking. Follow our official RED / IG accounts for the latest schedule.
